Private Beta

ROUNDER.

The most dangerous amateur at the table didn't get there by accident.

A private cardroom with distinct AI opponents, coaching at the decision point, and short practice sessions built around poker choices.

The Problem

You know the rules. You enjoy the game. Now you want a better feel for when to play, what a call really costs, and how to respond to the people across the table.

Rounder gives you a place to try a decision, see the reasoning, and practice the idea again. Start with cards on the table and a clear choice to make.

Rounder is a private AI cardroom built for players who want to think more clearly at the table.

Describe the players you face. Practice against opponents built around those styles, ask for a hint, and review your choices in plain English.

What's Inside

Different ways to practice. One cardroom.

Spawn a Villain

Describe a player. Practice against their style.

Write a few sentences about someone at your regular game — "a tight player who rarely raises, but never lets a bad call go unnoticed." Rounder turns that description into an AI opponent with a portrait, a backstory, and a playing profile. Build a table of cautious players, loose callers, and aggressive bluffers, then practice how you respond. Recent encounters and saved scouting reports can inform later decisions.

Coached Play

Make your move. See the reasoning.

Coached Play gives each of your decisions space for a short suggestion and its reasoning. Ask for a hint before you act, or make your own choice first. Review the suggested line alongside your move, then continue when you’re ready. Your session scorecard keeps those decisions together so you can revisit them.

Workshop

One decision. One useful idea.

Start with a short guided session or a curated practice hand. In River Lab, explore solved heads-up river decisions: see the ranges and available actions, make your choice, and compare the alternatives. Return for reviews of concepts you’ve practiced, or save a remembered hand in your notebook and find a related exercise.

Poker Math

Make the numbers part of the game.

Work through pot odds, call prices, the chance of completing a draw, and the numbers behind a bluff. Make a choice, see the calculation, and try another example. Timed drills let you track accuracy and pace; guided lessons offer help when you need it and bring concepts back for review.

Who This Is For

You're not trying to go pro. You're trying to stop being the mark.

Rounder is for the player who earns their living somewhere else — and wants to stop donating it at the table. Lawyers, founders, surgeons, engineers. People with 4 hours a week, not 40.

Your table is waiting.
